Of course, it’s easier if your building is an old one – we can follow it back in time through census records, as well as directories, newspaper reports and other archival records.
dOCUMENT TRANSCRIPTION SERVICE
If you have an old document that you haven’t been able to read my transcription service can help. I’m trained in palaeography (reading old handwriting) and have transcribed everything from pages from John Dee’s 16th century notebook, 17th century English civil war letters and 18th century American revolutionary war soldiers’ correspondence through to early 20th century adventurers’ diaries.
Don’t shove that old document to the back of the store cupboard – I can read it for you!
