It’s the start of the school holidays, so this year I have taken time off work and have been helping out with our local community theatre’s Junior members annual two-week workshop. It’s two weeks where thirty-two youngsters from the age of 8-18 get together to write, direct, choreograph and produce a multitude of sketches and skits. The adult helpers are there to oversee but the resulting show is all the work of the kids.
It’s a great two weeks full of fun, friendship, Tunnocks treats (other snacks are available), laughter and hard work that results in two nights of putting on a show. As a result I’ve had little time to think about worky things such as blog posts, so here for your delectation is a quick scribble that may result in a few nodding heads.
I give you…
